July 7, 2010

New York hard rockers BLACK WATER RISING will take part in an interview and acoustic performance for "The Real Radio Show" on Monday, July 12 at the Jamba Juice in Times Square, located at 712 7th Avenue (between 47th and 48th) in New York City. Also appearing on the show will be actor and one of BLACK WATER RISING's close friends, Jose Hernandez Jr. (HBO's "Oz" and "New York Undercover")

"The Real Radio Show" with Frankie Dee airs every Monday night from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and is broadcast on Long Island's WGBB 1240 AM as well as online at www.therealradioshow.com.

Commented drummer Mike Meselsohn: "These riffs were meant to be played loud but sometimes it's nice to strip the songs down to their essence and let the vocals really shine through. It's cool to present the tunes with a completely different feel and energy."

BLACK WATER RISING's self-titled debut is available on Giddy Up! Records. The CD artwork was designed by "Mister Sam" (a.k.a. Sam Shearon),the renowned artist from England who has done work for ROB ZOMBIE, GODHEAD and ESP guitars.
